Virtual Classroom
Our Online Learning Environment
We are excited about our recent launch of 'Google Classroom' to support learning in school and at home. Google Classroom is a web-based program that works on a wide variety of devices including Chromebooks; laptops; smartphones; iPads/tablets and even games consoles connected to the internet.
You can access your child's Google Classroom here:
Or, use your child's magic badge or Emoji password to access your personalised virtual classroom with links to Times Table Rockstars, Numbots, Spelling Shed and much more:
If you are unable to access the Google Classroom, then please email admin@smqhull.org for assistance.

Help and Support
Help Centre
If you missed our recent webinar providing help and support with using Google Classroom and its many features at home, then along with other helpful resources this can be accessed here:
Google Classroom - A Parent's GuideScroll beyond the video and click the link to the new 'Home Learning Microsite' for access to more new videos and links to helpful resources.
Loan Devices
If your child is struggling to access a suitable device at home for learning, then please let us know. As devices become available for loan, and subject to the required loan agreement, we can prioritise your child to receive one of these.
Mobile Data
The government has introduced a scheme that temporarily increases data allowances for mobile phone users on certain networks. This is so that children can access remote education if their face-to-face education is disrupted. Note that data can be used when tethering a mobile phone to another device for internet access.
On your behalf, we are able to apply for this support but only if your child meets ALL 3 of the following criteria:
- does not have fixed broadband at home
- you cannot afford additional data for their devices
- is experiencing disruption to their face-to-face education
Children with access to a mobile phone on one of the following networks might be able to benefit - Three; SMARTY; Virgin Mobile; EE; Tesco Mobile; Sky Mobile and O2.
